We have learnt about the history behind Anzac biscuits. We worked in our teams to follow the Anzac biscuit recipe. We measured the ingredients and mixed them altogether. Here is a short video of us making biscuits in the hall :)

ANZAC
This week we have learnt about ANZAC soldiers. They are kind of amazing because they are brave (braver than me- I couldn't even hurt a fly). The Anzac's fought people that they didn't even know. But they wanted to keep their country safe so I understand I guess.
I think it's important to have a Dawn Service every year because it helps us remember. Some poeple might think it is to cry. It's not to cry but sometimes we do. I don't think it's funny when people get hurt. Every year on Anzac day I will play with all of my red toys to remember all of the people who fought in the war for us.

Symmetry!
We have been learning what symmetrical and non-symmetrical objects are. We had to design one side of the ruler with a buddy using the shapes. -Eden and Katie. Then we had to try and make a friend's symmetrical. It was really fun! -Eden

X-Country Training!
We have started training for X-Country! We have talked a lot about setting goals for ourselves, trying our best and encouraging others along the way. Each day this week we have marked down our progress and are so much fun doing it!
